Santa loves me-Ive adored these pier 1 Hayworth mirrored nightstands forever! We're in the process of redoing a couple rooms in our house and these make my room look so glamorous and remind me of staying in Paris. I love them.

Shocked to get this baby A real Kate spade bag in my new fav color for spring grass green! I usually only have fakes from Canal street in ny or swap meets. So I was thrilled to get my very first designer accessory! Thanks mom!

no not baby johnson...butthe battlestar!Ok well we havn't quite named it yet- yes we name our cars.Today was a very fun day but a sad day. We Bought a minivan to prepare for Baby Johnsons arrival and traded in our Rav 4. We got the Rav in 2006 just after we were married and it has been the funnest car to have. It reminds us of being so in love and young and especially reminded us of our old ward and us both being in Young mens and Young Womens-transporting crazy kids around. We have amazing memories from being in Midnapore ward. The Rav is what we brought the boys home in from the hospital- it's driven us on vacations- it's given me many great moments of blasting music with the windows down when I needed a minute to feel alive.Needless to say it was hard to let our third born go...I also vowed I would never buy a van- I had a complex about them- that it made me old to have one. However after today I have to say that my mind is changed vans have come a long way since the 90's.so without further ado..the newest additionour new black dodge caravan- since there is only one color you can buy cars in :) {If your a johnson}I have to say my fav's are the dvd system the window shades- remote car started and garage door openers programed in. The leather seats with my own climate control is also heaven- brandon can heat up to 104 and I can be in bliss in -40 ac :)I love technology. The boys also loved watching finding nemo and all the lights- it will certainly make our road trips so much easierI feel pretty lucky today to get a new car. Thanks Babe- Our little family is going to love this car.

I'm teaching a class this saturday on entertaining- one of my fav things to do is put new art up every holiday or just change it a little so it goes with the season- this piece for instance will probably get a coat of cream in the spring time. Seriously people this is so cheap to do get a 40 percent coupon from michales buy some canvases go to the dollar store get some paint- sketch a silhouette of something you love- they are easier to mess up on :) and ta da- a fresh winter scene in your house for under 20 bucks- that can be reinvented later!

Also another inexpensive decor solution if your not into sketching anything- just get the canvas- some mistints from Benjermin moore-they are half as much turn the canvas sideways and pour the paint down- I suggest doing the darkest colors first so the lighter ones show up.

I'm kind've into woodland creatures right now- I had an extra canvas so I decided to make something happy for my bathroom for the winter season. I'll get in creative moods where I just need something relaxing to focus on-painting does this for me. I learned to love it when for a full week in high-school in a humanities class I had all we did was watercolor- I did a replica of Monets Waterlilly's

I lived to go to school that week.

When I'd get stressed in University- I'd go paint.

The best part about making your own art is when you look at it it makes you smile and you can change it whenever you want.

{VINTAGE COUCH JUNKYARD FIND}

Take a look at my new junkyard beauty. This lovely lady is going to be my summer project. GET THIS THOUGH. I went to the bottle depot that day to return my bottles-then we went to the salvage yard and saw this they suggest you leave a donation so for what I got back form recycling I got this couch a chair and two vintage suitcases- I LOVE UPCYCLING! What goes around comes around. Can't you just imagine this with black and white damask! I can't wait to get started!- Ill post pics of the chair and suitcases later! Thanks Keshia for letting me borrow your truck  talking me into it-and helping me tie it with awesome rope :) LOVE THE SALVAGE YARD!

{amazing succulents}

SOOO AMAZINGLY COOL ARE THEY NOT? Keisha and I took our kids to the Saskatoon berry farm yesterday. It was so nice to get outside and enjoy the warm weather with a great friend. I love when you can feel sunbeams on your face. And life just seems to catch you up in the moment. I've been looking for something cool to put in my front planters- and I saw these succulents and was in such awe of how intricate nature can be and how soft their texture was. They were perfect. So there was my treasure for the day! The boys enjoyed looking at the sheep and I think they liked how warm it was being outside. As we were driving out there all I could see was field- such a difference form calgary and it made me miss idaho. I wanted so badly to stop the car and go run as fast as I could through the field.  It was fun to sing with Liv in the car. Never have I sung the abcs more in my life. Made me smile inside. Also it was so cute to watch all 4 of our kids conked out at the end sleeping in their car seats. Pretty sweet. What amazing day. I highly recommend going there for a nice fresh outing- they have some unique things I love it there.

I love St Patricks day- green reminds me of spring and happy things. I also really love Irish culture,music and dancing. I Loved to step dance when I was younger and I probabally had 4 irish music cd's. When I would get stressed out I'd run to the dance studio where I taught- turn out all of the lights and the music up full blast- and just dance. It was truly such an amazing feeling and I remember just feeling the music and the pounding in your feet when you tap or do step is incredible. Also love the color green so I went and found some green finds for everyone today! Enjoy!

{My newfound love of writing}

I can't believe it's been abut a year since I started blogging. And it's becoming a part of me. I will be laying awake at night and think of some of the craziest things-and get my notebook down and write them down I know I'm a little scary. But I've decided I love it. I truly do. {As a kid I always remember being excited when it turned from february to March. My birthday was in March. My mom always got us a new outfit and we got to pick out whatever breakfast we wanted to eat-usually fruity pebbles- and my sisters did my chores- it was heaven. My mom always went above and beyond to make my birthday special. I always loved having it in March theres something about me my birthday and personality that all just go along with spring. I guess it was fate that I would be born on the first day of spring March 20th. I'm really really excited for my birthday this year. Last year my birthday consisted of me being in extreme pain-I delivered twins the following week. So I'm glad I get to spend my birthday doing something a little funner this year. And its the one thing I dont have to plan! So I've been thinkng about what would be funfor my birthday this year and I've been dreaming so here are some fun finds I think I'd love -I know some of them are just dream on bree- but what the heck they were cute so I thought Id share.}
