carla is my hero taping her hem line! I always carry tape and scisscors in my purse you never know when you'll need them!
Christmas carol was super fun to be in I'm glad I got to participate in something that brought the christmas spirit. My favorite part was singing a song about the nativity at the end while the little kids acted out the nativity- it was so sweet and they were adorable in their little costumes waving to their parents and flapping their angel wings. I had such a good time performing. I've missed it a lot and wish there were more opportunities to do so in Calgary.
I miss the days of community theatre.

Class and Music

I was able to teach a class on digital scrapbooking and blogging today. It was super fun. I love sharing my love of blogging and what an outlet it is with others. I also got to practice a song I'm singing in church tommorow-and have a musical Christmas carol Rehearsal. It got me all christmasie! I Can't say enough about how I feel when I
sing. It's like theres something deep inside me that just has to come out. I've focused on other things since college and I really miss the musical part of me. Hopefully I'll get to have more oppertunities to sing It made me feel like very true bree.

Amazingly Beautiful

My dear friend Sheliagh Fox knows what a sucker I am for coldplay and piano soloists. Especially Jon Schmidt he reminds me of my wedding- coldplay also reminds me of my wedding. My photographer in Idaho played both of these artists during my engagement photo session and it made our pictures turn out with so much more passion and intrigue. John schmidt is coming to Calgary on Tuesday and the tickets were only 10 dollars I'm trying to get 2 as we speak. Anytime you get to hear music like this your heart should dance with joy- I know mine does and it makes me want to dance and live. It's amazing how's his arrangements stir emotion in me. I love beautiful music and appreciate how much goes into learning and performing pieces. This made my night listening to something so beautiful.

Music as inspiration...

{This picture was taken after one of my fav songs Ive got rythm- our huge tap number- Ive never felt such a surge of energy than I did that night- everyones feet tapping at the exact same moment and the floor shakes- 14 straight minutes of dancing- nothing better!}

In one of my event classes the class was all about inspiration and where we get our ideas from. The whole class period he played music and we had to sit in the dark come up with a party idea based on that song and what we felt then write up a proposal. Since that day I always think of music differently and right now I'm in mega need of some new good songs- so I'm gonna list my most favorite songs- and Id love to know what your fav's are so I can get some new music inspiration!
